Careers office

The Careers Office of WSL helps students to establish contacts with the business world. It also offers support and advice concerning the start of their professional career:

  • it helps the students and graduates of WSL to enter the labour market by offering career counseling, by organizing workshops and training sessions;
  • it runs a database of job-seeking students;
  • it assists in contacts with potential employers;
  • it provides information about the labour market;
  • it publishes job advertisements;
  • it provides publications which help to write relevant documents;
  • it provides legal acts related to employment;
  • it co-operates with companies offering trainee schemes and work placements for the students of WSL .

Work placements/trainee schemes

Poznan School of Logistics has worked out a unique programme of work placements and trainee schemes which aims at preparing WSL students for the attractive profession of a logistician. This programme not only helps to gain professional experience, but also helps students to develop such social skills as: communication skills, ability to work in a team, team management, tolerance.

Our School co-operates with various institutions and enterprises, enabling WSL students to learn more about different jobs and to gain academic knowledge. Through its comprehensive contacts with the business world, the Institute of Logistics and Warehousing, which also acts as WSL’s research and scientific centre, actively supports the School’s career development programme.

Among the companies offering the students of WSL work placements and trainee schemes are: DHL EXPRESS, HORMAN POLSKA Sp. z o o, KUEHNE & NAGEL, PANOPA LOGISTIK POLSKA, P.W. HERMESOL, RABEN, VOLKSWAGEN.

For those with a good knowledge of foreign languages the School offers work placements abroad within the framework of EU programmes or as part of the agreement with Technische Hochschule Wildau.
